Excerpt from article below (link shows the dolls):

Freaky China-made dolls appeared in the shops of several Russian cities — Kalilngrad and Chelyabinsk, Komsomolskaya Pravda daily reported Thursday.

The price of the toy is just 12-15 rubles (25-30 cents). The girl-dolls are dressed in pajamas, but if you undress them you will find out that the plastic baby-girl has something girls do not have...

It seems difficult to explain to children what a “hermaphrodite” is and more over it does not seem necessary, even though our world changes rapidly.

Hi Aimee,

Yes, it seems that there were many cases of DSDD - Disorders of Sexual Doll Development at the factory :-)

Well, the dolls appear to be made out of plastic; and many plastics contain xeno-estrogens....so, maybe, as the (46XY?) dolls were being "made" they were exposed to these "endocrine-disrupting" chemicals and their bodies were "feminized", and as we can see the genitals are not quite "normal" male....i.e., no meatus (hypospadias?), micro-penis....the legs appear to have some joint anomalies, perhaps indicating possible osteopenia and/or osteoporosis in later adult life.....and possible dental (inadequate calcification) problems.

A phenomena that also occurs in humans (in-utero exposure). And, I'm sure that the Russians are standing by to "correct" these dolls by either surgery (vaginoplasty and/or exploratory laparoscopy )....... or meatotomy (http://www.urologyhealth.org/glossary/popup.cfm?id=801) with later male hormone injections , which would be a pity as the dolls are quite pretty as they are and would look awful with body hair and beards.:umno:

That's funnny, Aimee....little busy-bodies with tiny instruments and syringes.
But we do need to consider their self-identity
Yes, absolutely!...there's more to a person than just the genitalia and associated "sexual disorders":dude_hug: :girl_hug: :guy_hands :rose:
