If you've ever watched the other episodes of House, he's the same way with anyone and any condition. Nasty, rude, uncaring perhaps, but that's who House is. That's how he gets to the bottom of the truth. That's what makes the show.
That episode DID show the father of the "girl" who also had sexual relations with her. This was ok? The girl never had a period, but this was never told to House along with other things that were important.
He used his nastiness to get the most out of his patient, as he does with all the others and in all the other episodes because they just basically lie.
He got annoyed because he found the girl to have gonads of which no one seemed to ever know about. So with the lies they handed him already, he was totally angry when he found the gonads and spewed out the man comment to the girl because he thought she knew.

You have to look at the whole picture....and not just pick things out of it.

Taken from a previous thread:

that is I am sick and tired of being treated as sub human by people in the media I actually regard similarly.

Then don't let them.

Let me give you two instances, for instance:

Same situation two individuals;

Individual #1, "I am sick and tired of being treated poorly. I am going to do as much now as I have always done, nothing but fume."

Individual #2. "That was uncalled for. I have been treated badly by ignorant people before. As I know that people are people not matter where I go, I will find ignorance to truths yet unknown. I will make this world a better place by making them known."

Who do you think will be the more effective activist ? Don't go on and fool yourself further, as soon as you make to public aware of something unknown or purposely ignored, you have become an activist. Is this a responsbalility that you can handle ?

I recently saw an episode where a little girl no more than three years old, was brought in for having apparent epileptic seizures, and he accused the little girl of mastubating and having orgasms ... At 3? that seems rather unlikely.

The "truth"? This fictional character of Dr House is a drug addict. I used to have a doctor who always showed up for work looking heavily stoned on migraine meds. I can guess how they might have been effecting her, because she prescribed them for me, and I lasted about a month before the pills impaired me too much to continue. It was better to survive migraines than to be nearly a zombie. I wonder how she could take them for so much longer and not have it effect her judgement in some way.

If Dr House was real, he'd always be"right" because he's the doctor in charge, which means that in practical terms no one will ever say he's wrong, and the malpractice laws in most states make it almost impossible to prove that he's made a big mistake. The reality is, a lot of doctors are just as prejudiced vs intersexed patients as he is, and they'll continue to get away with it for as long as the public isn't outraged. :(
