This is a link that I got from a Klinefelter Syndrome group after searching the net.

When and if you ever want any medical info or conformation about anything endocrine like CAH or Klinefelter these doctors look like a good place for a consult.

Which one, according to clinical practice interest, sounds like they will be best to see for a CAH diagnosis?

Most CAH is caught in newborns up til 6months because most CAH is 21 hydroxylase and is often FATAL.
But there are other forms of CAH.
3B-HSD CAH's have mild clitoral enlargement in comparison to our 21 sisters. Actually, i'm quite glad that they missed the internal enlargement or they would have chopped that off too :pissed-2:

Dear R-
If you ever decide to go to an endocrinologist to find out if by chance you have any type of CAH or any other condition that is related to hormones then you would be the one to help you decide which Endo is the best for you.
Also, I have no idea about the Canadian health care system except that I do understand you have universal health care but I imagine that the good people to help you decide which endo to see ...if you want to see one at all would be the health care providers that you have now.
I can't answer anything medical as I'm a security guard but I wish you all the best.
I picked my endo by looking in my insurance book.
Good luck

In Canada we have many specialists who accept ANY insurance.
We have a government that pays for our basic needs (which never includes a private hospital room or cosmetic/elective surgery or treatment)
Then there are other types of coverage such as private plans that pay for things like that and more. I have a government plan from my disability. They pay everything for me.
What happens here with endos and other specialists is that a doctor needs to access the need you present for treatment outside of a GP.
So when your GP can't treat your condition they send you to the first specialist they can find OR you can suggest one you prefer and see if they have an opening.
It's like a prescription. The GP "prescribes" that you be cared for by a specialist :)
The only endo in my old town up north ONLY sees people with diabetes. How cruel!
Now that I am in Hamilton I have a few to chose from.
So curiously, which one of them would be able to figure out if I have CAH? Hmmm. Calling them tomorrow, busy day today!
