Hello,
I am intersexed and attend DePaul University. I am writing a thesis on Intersexuality. I am looking to perform interviews with intersexed people who have had anyexperience with Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. I am conducting these interviews with the future goal in mind of combining these stories, looking for common threads, and brainstorming alternative methods of care together. Hopefully with one unified voice, we can help Children's understand that the current method of surgery, secrecy and shame has not worked in the past and will definitely not work in the future.

p.s If I can't find enough people that have had any experience with the medical establishment at Children's in Chicago, then I will open these interviews to all intersexed people. If you would be interested in being interviewed about your experience with the medicalization of your sexuality/gender/etc...please email me as well!
