>>> thanks JOS. I'll never understand why they fixate on AIS'ers who have a distinct DISadvantage and not CAH's who have a distinct advantage.
I was accused by my fellow athletes of injecting testosterone... because they DID ;)
They were oh so afraid of getting caught, hated the facial hair they got from the shots, and so jealous of me for not being bruised from injections and being beardless....
But OBVIOUSLY doing it TOO and arrogantly unwilling to admit it. ;)
the only bone i have to pick with the article is there willingness to have DSD shoved down there throats... where is british patriotism when we need it? <<<

and its relavance to conditons that most doctors dont consider true intersex conditons. follow the little blue links, they will explain more information. also in the DSD Chart 1, its important, and might also share some light about how little is mentioned on Turners Variants<----they didnt bother to mention that 45X/46XY can also be Turners Mosaicism.
For those of you who don't quite comprehend my posts about Turners Mosaic Male, the relavance of Ovarian regression(small ovaries) rather then ovarian Dysgenis(streak), is relavent to me. I have also heard/read Ovarian regression called referred to Ovarian Agenesis, not sure how accurate that term is though. While some of my older posts might mention Mixed Gonadal Dysgenesis being used by me, I generally choose not to do so, as I doubt its accuracy when applied to me. And if you are curious, I only used MGD on my posts then as others said, reported to me, the mix of both ovaries and testes was MGD, technically its not as my ovaries are healthy little ovaries, their may be some minor issue with my right testes(odd discoloration on MRI on one pole that looks odd, worrysome, Radiologists then called it a triangle shaped calcification on the southern pole, meaning opposite end to where the epididimus sits, but other then that,my testes look healthy, unless you also count the Epididimal cyst present, extra testicular tissue present within the scrotum, but all my gonads seem to be healthy gonads with respect to what each is, and that is why I do not use MGD, and I also have issues with being told to look up Turner's Mosaic back in 93, rather then Mixed Gonadal Dysgenisis. though there was also know information available on Turners Mosaic in that medical encyclopedia, so it didnt help me any. Took me a good 4+ years before i even found 1 refference to a Turners Mosaic Male. Even longer to find a Turner's mosaic male with CAH.
I just had alot to say i think, I did find this article very interesting. helpfull too, and yes I do hate the use of DSD.

On the other hand, I was pleased to see Cloacal Exstrophy listed on that table. I haven't seen it in a list of intersex conditions before.

I actually think that article had alot of information in it for being as short as it was.
oh and just because I can plug it
Turner's Mosaic Male is almost always considered a True- Intersex Condition, the only difference being is that their is no 1 set expected genital variation in development. Meaning, we Develope as many different conditons, as the XO cell line will present itself, differently from one person to the other, but what will be common is the sharing of Some of the Common traits expected with Turner's Stigmata, and in alot of older texts, this condition is often missdiagnosed as Noonan's, as the two condition's are similar, but Noonans is in fact a different conditon, oh and no Not just boys get Noonans, Girls can get Noonans too. Noonan's doesnt discriminate Like Doctors do.
