Not XXY and you missed the bonus question... Ah well, we love you anyway. :)
Also not XXY.... i am XY (with a misfunctioning Y i guess... making me more X LOL?)
and I think the game is a Japanese game called Go... played also on Star trek :-)

I am XXY, I think you'll find, and I couold be wrong, , that the game Othello and the game Go are the same game playing in different countries.
Such as, the world calls it 'Football'. Assocition Football evolved into 'Soccer' in England, which has now reverted to 'Football' but the USA still refers to 'Football' as 'Soccer'.

I looked up Othello and Go, Othello is supposed to have been invented in 1971 and been inspired by Go, but designed with simpler gameplay than Go.

Close! Prince..es got it too.
It wasn't used on star trek though it should have been, because go is infinitely more beautiful than 3d chess. My guess is that in another couple hundred years everyone will play go and chess will be pretty much unknown.
Two places I do know it was used was in the movie "a beautiful mind" (because the protagonist of that movie developed some really complex math theories based on his knowledge of go, but in the movie you only see just a brief flash of the board and they don't explain any of the background) and the other is in a novel called Shibumi, where go is part of the central theme and there are go metaphors throughout the story. In Shibumi, a character is asked what the difference is between go and chess. He answers, "Go is to chess, as philosophy to double-entry accounting". That is soooo true. Actually I know of some other references but they are so obscure you aren't likely to run across them.
I call it a mindsport. It is so much more than just a game.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_game
Go has inspired three other games: go-mo-ku, and from that, othello and pente. The latter two are commercially produced, while go-mo-ku is another traditional game that is very loosely based on go.

Hey kiddo, read the whole post, it's all there, but ok, you're right it IS go. Play, play, night and day, if you don't you'll go away! lol
So now, being as your Y might as well be a WHY, what's the significance, how does the X express itself, is this like monosomy X? But under your name it says AIS, which is a whole different thing from monosomy X, so I am confused. But that's part of why I'm here, to learn. Oh, and feel free to send me URLs if you think I need to read up on things. I am no stranger to RTFM.
I am CAIS and it is my cell receptors that don't respond.
... I tend to be a bit flippent because those are the sorts of comments doctors have made to me over the years.
AND YEAH.. it confuses the hell out of you.... that is a verbatum quote..
"only your Y doesn't work properly so it's like you are just X"

I've met my share of ignorant, insensitive doctors myself. But we don't have to be flip to each other, ok? I'm asking because I want to understand, CAIS in general and you in particular. I looked up CAIS on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Androgen_insensitivity_syndrome) and while the article is long and full of diagrams, the disclaimer at top warns that it isn't complete. And you can't really trust wikipedia anyway since it can be edited by anybody and often is. So tell me if this is good (or biased) info and what else I should read.

I have listened to your music vids. You are very talented.
The board in my avatar is an ancient asian game called Go, possibly the oldest game in the world (over 4,000 years).
We have shared on other forums but it was years ago. We will share here.

my ovaries would still produce some... and it seems, quite a bit more than i like.
i'm at last thinking of going on spiro (oh Godde, i hate that thought) but i hate even more the stupidity that T' goads me to..... :whipg:
JOS, sometimes i want to rip out my eyes.... because i cannot hide what i feel... it scares women to see that i like them

Suduko was invented by a Kiwi BTW just like the aeroplane, refrigerated shipping and the right to vote for women, although voting isn't really an invention. And Suduko means...nothing it's a made up word.

Who invented the aeroplane is open to interpretation because it depends on how you define "aeroplane" however the first powered aeroplane with control surfaces was an American invention.
The US state of Wyoming granted women's suffrage years before it was done by the British colony that would later become known as New Zealand.
Kiwis didn't invent refridgerated shipping; that was also done by an American, but kiwis did perfect it.
And sudoku was invented by an American in 1979 under another name but it was exactly the same game.
And the sun, the moon, and the stars... LOL

Sorry, not right....ohhhh might be, but I'm referring to a Nation and NZ was a self governing Nation when the right to vote was graciously given to women, before the Nation of the USA. So without your family code being applicable, you could be right.

Hi OkkieDokie
Am not xxxy
there seems to be a few different variations in Genotyoes;
xy (male)
xx (female)
xxy (KS)
xy/xx (Mosaic)
xo (? not sure what the 'o' menas')
Question;
You know the types with extra letters i.e 3/4 instaed of 2 do they have anythig to do with twins? Are thier chances that somebody was going to be a twin so they got the extra letters? Am just really intersted is all,
so if there are 3 i.e xxy does that mean one of the X doesn't work right? form the XXY people I have come across online it seems most if not all are raised or coose to be male?
In my case they can not find a 'gene' that makes me insnesitvity to andrgones to some degree nor the one that makes me visuallly impaired, also
1 brothers has ichthyosis a skin condition
2 habe heart condtions 1 of which has Noonan's
My family is rare n special I owe to myslef and family to find out as much as possible about our condition, who knows youz'all I could have an condition unknown sorry for saying I had PAIS thats what i was told well told all kinds of condtions sorry i upset some of you

You might be interested in reading about "The Six Nations" (a.k.a. "Iroquois Confederacy") who had a representative form of government that predates Columbus by more than 100 years. Although the Council was made up of men, the men were selected by the Clan Mothers who also retained to right to recall their representative at any time. (The Iroquoian culture was matriarchal and the Clan Mother was the eldest woman of each clan.)

We are in a state that is genetically not quite yet up to speed to much. Ive tried contacting genetic experts here, but most seem too vague for me to bother driving 60-70 miles to hear basically nothing. I moved here, after living here for 6 months prior to this. I may go back to Montana where my family support is just a tad bit better than here. Im independent now and will stay that way, but see some things, that need improvement. Like doctors close by who are qualified in more than one area.

interesting intro, I do hope you find some sense of self while here browsing the BLO forums.
Honestly though i must add that support usually works best when you also participate. You would be amazed at the little bit of information you have learned over your life, that might just help another out when they need some guidance.
So please do not think that you are only in need of support. Many times the small bits of wisdom of others has helped me out and offered some very important advice that I had no way of understanding without them. I do believe everyone has a few bits of knowledge others can learn from.
Just remmember I am always right, And we will get along great.

just wondering what answers are you looking for?
While many posts or cross post in all threads, we do not always share the same conditions or the same symptoms.
Answers though often are easiest to find, when others like me know what the questions are being asked.
Generally I would say, just do your best to find yourself. Regardless of the conditions we have, or the side affects due to them we still are perfectly normal, Or I should say there are far more normal people with far more serious problems then we have. Ie some people are infact perfectly average peeps, with some serious issues. For most of us, our issues may be confusing for a little while, but we can generally figure out why once we know what conditions we have. With that information we can also share ways to help each other out.
Sometimes life can be crappy when there is an issue over our conditions, yet many people fair far worse then us, and have far more serious problems. Hell most of our problems are really just self esteem issues due to some body parts that arent all that common. Hope know one is thinking im taking this question likely. Meaning self-esteem can take some knocks when we see ourselves different then those around us. In time we can find our self esteem and self worth and be happy. Happyness is a good goal to strive for. Sometimes all it takes is finding enough courage to just be ourselves and when that happens life just seems to straighten itself out. There will be some struggle, but then all things worth struggling for, takes some effort.
Timinig right now may not be ideal but remember your not alone ever. Your condition is not unheard of. There are many people who have the same and do have nice productive happy lives. All we need to do is find out how they managed to get past the hard parts. Some of us have done so, some of us are in the middle of doing so, and some of us are not quite yet ready to find themselves amongst the masses. But when you do, life will be a whole lot better. Time is the real issue.
Is there enough time left to be happy?
Answer "Of course there is". There is time a plenty, smile be happy work on a positive attitude. Smile when meeting new people, Do not be afraid to talk to people, and if asked to help someone, help them. Overtime the people around you will see you as a happy person, stable and reliable, and often when others see you as happy, stable and unreliable you will see yourself as happy, stable, and reliable. Self esteem recovered, you will then be much better to be around. People will want to be around. Oh and don't be pushy lol. Take your time, work on yourself, find alternative ways to relieve stress.
I do hope the lil advise helps some. If you have questions ask, cause while we may not all share the same experiences, often we can understand one another and help one another understand ourselves better.
Best wishes.
