Surgery in So Cal

Well Dr. Atamedede ordered a MRI and we sat down and looked at the results... I must admit I was rather confused on reading it... I had always assumed that doctors could tell what was inside by a x-ray... However it would apear I was wrong... Also I always thought medical words had latin or Greek base... Anyhow long story short, the doc wants to do some type of surgery were he will cut me and insert a thing called a "stent"... Said he would leave this thing inside me for a few days then take it out... After I get out of the hospital I will have to goto his office every other day to have a nurse do something... There is one sentance on this MRI paper that sure does have my attention... "Anterior to the vagina has an apperance of seminal vesicles, but no definite prostate is identified." Now correct me if I'm wrong but isn't vesicles were sperm is made? As in could I actuly like be a father? Or am I way off on this thinking?

I believe seminal vesicles is where sperm is collected. Sperm is produced in testicular tissue

and prostactic fluid. an analogy would be like having a gall-bladder where bile is stored, but no liver where it is produced.

and Brenda? a "stent" is something used to hold something else, open. stents are used permanently to hold blood vessels open... and temporaily to hold vaginas open. As for your former belief about X-rays...

i have even known some doctors who would not believe a thing was real if it did not show up on one.... ;) so don't feel too bad about it. :)

produce seminal fluid which is part of what makes up the fluid in ejaculate, though without testes they would just produce fluid. not sure exactly what else you have downstairs but basically the seminal vesicles make up alot of the fluid that is precum, and no they wouldn't produce sperm normally, unless there happens to be testicular tissue inside as well, but that is highly unlikely. You might just consider what is there as wolfan duct remnants that could of been, but didn't quite make it. Unusual/rare perhaps, but happens.

As I can't recall your condition meaning I forgot what you have, but perhaps PMDS is likely, Persistant Mellurian Duct Syndrome, could be wrong, but would make sense in a way ya know, having a little bit of both Wolfian duct and Mullerian duct structures present. Think you might want to ask your doctor to ask the radiologist for a better answer. Also great news too, at least your doctor is looking for things, which is always good to hear.

Thanks for the help...Actuly I got all exicted over nothing... Knowing is nice however... I guess the surgen wants to make sure all his ducks are in a row before he actuly grabs a butter knife and has at me... Surgery date is set for the 8th in Torrance... Oh yeah before I forget, after I took a look at the MRI I had a LONG talk with my mother about a few things... And yes even tho I know I shouldn't I still blame my mother for a lot of things... Meh.... No bricks to eat today so going to eat big fuzzy bird called turkey... Anyhow, yall have a great one and hope everyone is with someone they love today...

Torrance is near LA... Kind of south of it.. But north of San Pedro and Long Beach... Been a long time I've been waiting for surgery... I joke and kid around a lot but seriously I've been in pain for years... Haveing to use a self-cath thing really blows... Oh yeah... Yesterday was me hatching day so now I am 38... Weeeeeee I feel old... :)

do you have to self-catehterise often? I have to about 8 times a day.

think i missed any notices BLO server usually tells who Birthday it is at least when then that information is on the profile. Now then as your 38 too, how do you feel about your age. Only wondering cause i think 38 sucks, haha, still too many people consider you a youngen but I don't fell young at all, rather feeling old and worn out these days.
