Dear members,

I'm a UK journalist looking to work with UK-based members to help them raise awareness of their condition in the UK national press and women's magazines.

Telling your personal story is not for everyone - it does involve speaking openly and being pictured. But, I would ensure you received a read back of the finished article before it was published to check you were happy - so no nasty surprises! I would also ensure your message was relayed accurately.

In addition, I would ensure the newspaper or magazine paid you for telling your story - sometimes up to £1,000 or more.

If you would like to find out more in confidence you can email me at emily@<hidden>

I look forward to hearing from you!

Wow! That sounds 'sensational' :)

just wondering if that comment was meant to be sarcastic?

And would it not also make some people, provide some people an ability to make up information to provide more sensationalism?

Just thinking right now, that it is neat to be compensated some for our time. But that there is the possibility of abusing this offer as well.

Now i am in the USA so won't be trying lol. Just thinking that If I had a real opportunity I would love to have a film crew present during an Echo Gram just to show the world how much can be seen and how much surgical evidence is left when surgery is chosen and performed on an intersexed person. At least there would be actual filmed documentation of what is left inside me that technicians and radiologists would then be forced to acknowledge. Which so far is things that they refuse to do.

Wondering if any others have that issue? or are interested in taking a step to actually share real life examination of themselves. Now I some would be highly offended in doing so as they have there own medical trauma from early genital examination and over exposure to medical staff, but if someone were to offer to film what has been done in the past, would there be people like me who would freely do so?
