Hi all,

I was diagnosed with MRKH at 15. I am currently 22 and am looking to create a resource that will provide us with support (in conjunction with CHEO). I have started with a blog (please visit it at mrkhcanada.wordpress.com). This is where I share my personal experiences as well as any research that I have found regarding our condition. But I am primarily trying to get the word out about this condition and would love it if you would like to establish contact!!!

Please feel free to visit my blog and comment and let me know if you have any questions!

Hi AMM,

I admire you for taking this initiative!

I have AIS which has a completely different cause from MRKH but in practice lots of the issues (like vaginal length are similar. I'd be very glad to hear from you by private e-mail. I've been involved in the AIS support group and perhaps we could compare notes about support resources for our respective conditions, also about the kinds of treatments that are offered. (I am very much a proponent of non-invasive, non-surgical treatment.)

Hope all works out well for you in your life and in this project.

Peggy

Hi Peggy!

Thank you for stepping out! It means a lot to hear from you! The reason I have decided to make my experience public is because I feel there is a lack of public support for those with MRKH and related conditions. I am hoping to eventually reach a point where stories/experiences can be shared in person...so we create a kind of community. Thanks a ton for your support and I would absolutely be interested in corresponding via email (mrkhcanada@<hidden> free to email me at any time because Im very interested to hear your story and ideas).
