Enter the Howard Stern "Worst Penis Injury" Contest
---------------------------------
Howard Stern, who has been loudly against non-therapeutic genital cutting in the past, stands at the ready to make a mockery of your penis injury.

Until September 16th, the show is accepting 500-word essays to explain why your penis injury is the worst they will encounter. They don't neccessarily need you to show your genitals, but they will need some sort of official looking verification/documentation before they hand you the $5000 prize.
To hell with prizes. I say if they get enough IS people writing that having normalizing surgery or therapy was plenty damaging, they just may include one of them among their finalists on a lark.
Howard's co-host Robbin Quivers reads a sampling of current news near the end of every show and has recently covered the story of the "hermaphrodite transsexual" dog that made the rounds in the lazy media. This very influential show could clearly use an eduction.
These letters from wounded IS folk could be a way to put the AAP's lack of definitive advice - to recommend leaving the patient's future options as open as possible - on the show's radar and get Howard ranting again. Follow the link above to submit yours.
Cheers,
-Ron Low
