It depends on what you are looking for a lot of genetic counselling is to do with couples working out the chances of passing some condition on to their child. But is is often quite basic mendelian inheritance stuff. I think the general awareness of intersex conditions among Genetic Counsellors is rather limited.

For sure private counsellors give me the creeps whereas state run ones (Running to strict codes of ethics) tend to be better informed and more sensitive to certain issues.

I am talking about the UK though I cannot speak for the states.
