This may sound like a retarded question to most of you, but im curious..because a good friend of mine is a classified female, in a pretty serious relationship with another woman. only she has a 'lower male organ'. is it possible for her to get another woman pregnant? it's just something i've been curious about for a while.

What type of intersex medical condition does your friend have?
For example, women with CAH don't have male testes but might have the external appearance of looking male down there. We have only female chromosomes (not that it makes a difference when it comes to anything in this world) and only female reproductive organs. It's corrected adrenal gland condition kinda boring and no male testes so not going to be getting anybody pregnant.
Maybe a true hermaphrodite could? or another intersex condition? I'm not sure.
good luck
Sara,
Yes, it could be possible, but it totally depends upon what "lower male organ" she might have.
Here is what someone would need to get another pregnant. That person would need a viable testes. 1) It would have to be present 2) It would have to be viable and produce spermatazoa, and 3) It would have to have a delivery system to the outside such as a vas deferens. However, having a penis would be optional, and not particularly necessary.
I hope this answers your question.

Not according to the surgeons who like to do the cutting! Can't have penetrative intercourse? Better do some cosmetic fashioning. :devil_smi
Sorry for my sarcasm...
Meadow is absolutely right on the sperm aspect. No viable sperm...no baby that way.
I do want to add that a person can not have both viable ovaries (or ovary) and viable testes. That is, she would not be able to impregnate herself.
Aimee is also dead-on when she asks about the type of intersex your friend has. It makes a world of difference regarding fertility or even fertility "potential"

I find this interesting.
Anyone know of any individuals who are XX and can still make something like sperm?
