It's a bit unfair to those who only wander in once in a while or simply lurk when the names start changing like the leaves.

It might be a better way to approach it but one I didn't give thought to. I think as long as it is done honestly such as with an introduction along the lines of "Hi, I used to be jane, but now I am joan" it's probably fine.

The issue however is that emails can only be used once and before you try it, you must clear all cookies the forums use.

The forums will be undergoing a major upgrade this week and I think some of the UI controls will be a bit easier so hopefully, some limitations will be changed and hopefully made a bit easier.
