Well, after all of the seriousness of today’s posts that I generated and was involved in, I would like to present these (quite “out of the world”) mathematics-derived computer art and "photo-realism paintings galleries for people to browse through. A small something (for those that like unusual artwork) in this life to appreciate and enjoy, instead of bemoan and regret.

The weblinks below are renditions of actual paintings (acrylic and oil mostly) so real they resemble photographs: the genre is called photo-realism:

And, yes, people: on the link below, scroll down to the bottom of page;

Dana.......sometimes a little more than "a little bit" is better, too.

Dana,
Is this just cool stuff for us to have fun with or do you also do this kind of art?

Actually, it was cool stuff for the group; but I do really get into this kind of art (as well as surrealism and digital sci-fi) for personal enjoyment. As far as doing it; I've only drawn cartoons and abstract forms before (colored pencil and chalk). Microscopic photography is fascinating also, especially with a light diffraction lens.....I really do like most all forms of artworks...crystal miniatures, wood engravings.....the beautiful side of human expression......like Aimee said: the kind of stuff that makes life worth living.....for me science does that too.

PS: Sorry it took a few days to answer your post; I've not been at work until today (no PC at home).
