Dear confused1,Hi,I'm steve/lisa. I see no one has replyed to your post as of yet,At least i could not see a thread as of today.6-20-07.At 5:45 pm mountain time,I am a true herm,I don't know much about CAH,But will read up on it very soon(tonite) So i may understand this better,WOW 15yrs old and you know, what a difference between now and my time it was a very dark secret in my time.I have read a few CAH reports but still don't quit get it (guess you have to live it to really know)But I have not been here long either and have found a lot of support here as i to was about to give up looking.I have not found one like me yet cause I've been told I'm quit rare,But i keep looking tho.You must really commend your parents for letting you know this dark secret,It's (In my time) A hard thing for parents to talk about it to a child of theirs,But no worries tho,we are a strong bunch,Even if where a little different.(Out of the normal realm of things) If you ever need to just talk about it to some one and theirs no one out their,Well just send me a e-mail,I'll try to understand what CAH is exactly,So i can at least be a little informed as to what you say O.K. confused1,So you will find a friend with your problem some day so please have patience,as it will come for you I'm sure. Your friend lisa.

hello there,we could nearly all call each of us confused!
so you are not the only one

i am equally new to your condition

my condition is: a very happy for what i do have in my life, xxy!

so first things first
dont freak out
there are many humans like you
and you are lucky to know so early in life

secondly
be wary of doctors orders
many times doctors tell us things that have nothing to do with the actual cause of our symptoms
i am not saying to not listen!
i am just saying to filter the info
and get advice from the really good professionals....and they would be people who have been in life a little longer than you...and may hold valuable lessons for you to cherish and learn from...

i am sure you know all this already but if not....just relax in the knowledge that you have come to a good place
and that if you are a carer, then you find other carers!

patience is also very important...because answers on these issues unfortunately are not so quick in coming sometimes
and another truth is that there arent a lot of people with really good factual info on intersex conditions.....yet

i am hoping young people like yourself will take an interest in self educating about intersex dilemmas and solutions for living better lives
so that we have a constant supply of eager to help individuals like yourself!

even by posting your little piece,it will help others in similar situations to yourself feel not so alone

well done for posting!

peace....and dont forget to party!

thanks for the words there peaceandparty.

I've often wondered if i ever really say anything so well. Most posts i try to help or offer some little bit of wisdom i've aquired over the years. But yours there were amazing. Simple, too the point, easy to understand.

ps, Is it ok if i quote you when i talk to people?
