I read about Blepharoplasty on http://www.jdhealthcare.com/plastic.html#1 and I never heard from it before and that’s why I am curious to know more about it.

• Why does a person choose to have the surgery?
• How does a person choose the doctor?
• How much did it cost?
• Was the final cost the same as what you were told before the surgery?
• How was the recovery?
• Were there any complications? How were they resolved?
• How do you feel about the results?

I got some information on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blepharoplasty which says that Blepharoplasty can be both a functional or cosmetic surgical procedure intended to reshape the upper eyelid or lower eyelid by the removal and/or repositioning of excess tissue as well as by reinforcement of surrounding muscles and tendons…
This sounds freaky:whatchuta …is it painful after the surgery:confused6 ??

....and why do people get it done!?

and why are there so many americans getting cosmetic/plastic surgery!

i got a hysterectomy when i was 16 due to extreme bullying

nothing since has altered my body in any way

maybe i am lucky because i am fairly good looking(finally i can think that about myself)
but i wish people would realise their beauty and that there are people out there who are looking for you...because we were all made beautifully
and i know that that is hard to believe if you have people whom you meet everyday at work or whatever that give you a lot of crap about your looks

but all you need are good friends and good environment
i live in foreign countries
so for a few years....as i learn the language
i dont understand the insults
lol
and also when i go home to ireland
i can insult people back in a foreign language
and they dont get offended
and i feel wonderful!

it's always made me laugh the thought that two people who have had loads of plastic surgery to correct big noses and wonky chins would get together and have the oddest looking babies... people wouldn't want to say he's got your nose!!! lol
