Well, after searching for over two years for a Dr that can tell me what the heck is going on, I found this one I HIGHLY reccommend her.
She got on the phone while I sat there and got information about a cat scan for my pelvis.
She acknowledged that my estrogen levels are totally in the female range
She said that while I was built on a mostly male frame, I have female hips (the bones not the size) and thouroghly measured my breasts, waist, and rib cage, and noted my small waist.
She said my prostate was irregularly shaped.
She DID NOT tell me I need to see a shrink and that I have a "body image problem" like my other doctor did.
She did not say "breasts are common for men, work out and excersise" like the bozos I have seen for years have told me until I feminized to this extreme
And she did it personally. No nurse, no receptionist. She took my blood pressure herself.
I told her that at this point I could give a flying fig about what name my condition is called, I just want to be able to go to the store without being called "m'am", then "sir" in the same conversation.
I did start anti androgens, but not estrogen because my levels are already in the female range.
If you live in So. Cal., you should definately make an appointment with her.
She said that since she opened her doors a year ago, I am the 104th person who has come to her after getting no answers from other Doctors.
Anyway, she was so good to me that I wanted to highly plug her.
By the way, I posted a request for a good Dr on xxy talk, susan's place.org and this site, plus wrote the ISNA, and I finally found her by myself.
It seems that the only thing worse than not knowing what the heck is going on is the shame and runaround I have goten from other Dr's.
Anyway that's all for now.
