I just started this private yahoo group for us. Its not meant to "take" anyone from here, anymore than the private AIS group intends that. But i would like folks from here to come and post (at least once) as a show of support. just send your e-mail PM and i'll send off the invite right away.

why is this guy even still a part of the group? i dont know whether or not im intersexed, its likely im not, but i dont sit around just wanting to sneak a peek or a date with everyone so i can see their genitals.

After repeated complaints about qj's behavior, I reviewed qj's past posts, and have banned qj from this forum. With a logon name like "qjlikesintersexuals" one would have to work hard to gain the trust of intersex people.

Because I am learning about I.S. and would like to know more, I hope no one minds my asking a simple question.

What are all of the ways that could cause someone to be I.S.?

I've heard of Klinefleters, CAH and AIS and CAIS but I don't know what any of it means or how it could make a child or adult I.S. If I understand correctly, these are actual physiological conditions (as opposed to someone being transgendered feeling he or she was born into the wrong body when there is no medical evidence of any I.S.).

We exist because rather than be spontaneously aborted, our mother's womb hold's onto us, and brings us into the world looking different but usually healthy. Its the "normalization" surgeries/treatments that often screw up our health.
