This is a great chapter dealing with the intricacies that parents face while trying to figure out how best to care for their intersex child. It's obvious, though, that the current standard of care falls way short in providing answers and comfort which are both so desperately needed by parents and child alike.

For any parent that suffers guilt over their participation in providing what they were told was the best care possible, this is an excellent view of how they unwittingly became victims too.

And my thanks also to Jennifer for her volunteer work!
