Does anyone even use it? Our license is coming up for renewal soon and I'm inclined to let it expire. If it is being used, let me know so I can make a decision.

Maybe posting a time in a very visible spot would help people meeting in the chat room all at one time..for what it's worth

I used to check it from time to time, but there was never anybody in there. As for trying to set up a scheduled chat time, I'll be there if I can, but I think the fact that so many of us live on different schedules and in different time zones might make it difficult.
If anyone wants to try, I wish you good luck with it.

I have logged on many times looking for people in the chat room but no one is ever there - sometimes I leave it open for a while to see if someone else ever logs on.
I'd really like to have a chat room and people who hang out in yahoogroups Intersex-Androgynous and Intersex-forum are always talking about wanting one. I've suggested using the one here several times......
It seems to me it needs a jump start. Could you create a new community forum catagory called "Chat Room Schedule"? Any one could advertise and invite others to a specific chat party, giving a day and time (don't forget to include whether it's Eastern, Mountain, Pacific etc.). This might reduce random log ins only to find no one home. You'd know that at that time you'd have at least one person waiting there to talk to.
