View Full Version : Scary!

From CompuServe main news menu, 1/12/04:
"The U.S. government is moving forward on a computerized system containing background information on air travelers despite resistance from airlines and privacy advocates, The Washington Post reported on Monday.
The government will. . . see passenger records. . .Passengers through U.S. airports would be scored with a number and a color that ranks their perceived threat to the aircraft they are traveling on. . ."
So, who would be included? People like me who flew once in 1996 or frequent travelers? A "source" told me that plans are in the works also to develop a database of patients' MEDS and TREATMENTS! Who would access this database? And for what purpose?
I think I'll dig myself an underground hole and live there. At least I'd have SOME privacy!
Seems like in recent years, we've gone from It's a Small World After All (due to the rise of the Internet), to A Brave New World (post 9/11 insanity).
I used to work in aviation security, and ran screaming because some of the people were just so bloody incompetent; and being taken seriously.

I've always maintained that "Correction and Control" is the major philosophy behind most governmental systems.. You're right it is scary: what's even more frightening is what's behind closed doors, things we only "hear about" as in urban legends. This system of control is highly detrimental to IS and TS human beings, who would be publicly humiliated in the least and detained for "security" reasons at the worst. ( by homophobes and the "Righteous")
I see this as ominous.
"Human beings are capable of the most beautiful dreams, and the most horrible of nightmares."
From the Movie "Contact" starring Jodie Foster
the supreme court has backed their pet president by refusing to say why people are being kept in Cuba.

Feds seek wiretap access via VoIP
By Declan McCullagh
CNET News.com
January 8, 2004, 7:42 AM PT
The FBI and the Justice Department have renewed their efforts to wiretap voice conversations carried across the Internet.
The agencies have asked the Federal Communications Commission to order companies offering voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service to rewire their networks to guarantee police the ability to eavesdrop on subscribers' conversations.
Without such mandatory rules, the two agencies predicted in a letter to the FCC last month that "criminals, terrorists, and spies (could) use VoIP services to avoid lawfully authorized surveillance." The letter also was signed by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Yes, I agree. Control systems are detrimental to anyone born/who identifies as different, or who refuses to fall into goose-step with the mediocre masses.
Let's toy with this idea of control.
How do you see it implemented?
Who will implement it?
How far will it go?
You might not be surprised to hear that the U.S., long before the current administration, bought up vast expanses of land intended for use as high-level security facilities. For whom? And why are they so large and numerous? And...secure?

Yes, such things have been going on for centuries, ever hear of the Illuminati? Free Masons?....most all of the Presidents of USA are/were Free Masons....look on the back of the $1 bill......the "all-seeing eye", all symbolistic of the Master Order....some may say this is urban legend and that I'm alarmist, but I say that certain self-appointed "Extraordinary Gentlemen" have held sway fora very long time and with technological advances and "excuses" for widening the web of Security, we are living in a society that is symbolistically and vaguely reminiscent of the movie "The Matrix"....the concept and purpose is the same: Correct and Control...
One another more enlightening note:
And this is going to be a bit esoteric..but here goes: food for thought: ever hear of Indigos? And isn't it rather coincidental and ironic that what is/was regarded as "urban legend" or science fiction has had a spark of truth and eventual reality to it such as : ESP, paranormal phenomena,.space-time wormholes and black-holes... the recent Discover magazine issue has an article which sheds new light on how the Universe really is, something that ancient socities already postulated to be the reality, which reflects the humanity and beauty of the Ancients way of thinking. And here we are in the Modern World, which knows how to make nano-chips, fly space-craft to Mars, build humongous sky-scrapers.. but cannot (or want not to): stop fighting wars, balance state and federal budgets AND:does not/cannot/wants not to understand and regard with dignity and respect those "fellow" humans who are gender and body variant people. seems like compassion and humanity are on (or have been so) on the decline, and it is that which indicates the brutish cretinism of Modern Man and its correct and control "civilization".......Not all non- gender/body variant humans are that bad, many are good, this I know as a fact...things are changing, but the strangle-hold of "normalization" still needs a LOT more "loosening" if it is to be acceptable to human life, liberty and the pursuit of individual happiness.
Anyway,
Dana

No. I could do a websearch, but I'd rather hear your take on it/them, DG.
Also, here is the link to some underground US government bases... http://www.anomalies-unlimited.com/Bases.html

DG,
Wow! Just did a search on Indigos (couldn't be patient enough to wait for your response). Now I have a new way to introduce myself to new folks: "Hi, I'm an Indigo."
Honestly, I fit every criteria given, although I'm sure many other folks do, as well.

Indigo refers to a person who is "gifted" with respect to personal attributes, be it artistic, psychic, intelligence, that falls outside of the Bell curve for average.people...i.e exceptional "talents"...it does not mean special in that this differentness indicates Saints, Sages, and super-humans..OR for that matter , freaks and "outsiders" it means ordinary human beings that have been born gifted. I would like to say the following , though and the words I say for myself as well as for other Indigos, Crystals, persons with enhanced senses and any other gifted human beings:
It is prudent and beneficial to all for ANY gifted person in this world to remember that being different does not mean better (or worse)than others. Such persons, because of their unique abilities and characteristics, would contribute positive energy to themselves and the world by being more tolerant of others who may be deemed "less".. for this is doing the same as some people have done to others for millenia...and , of course, the result is a fragmented, polarized, and war-torn planet, where mutual trust and respect are the rarity. I myself have had to learn this concept, as I have been arrogant, intolerant, negative, impatient and exuded negative anger towards many people. (some anger may be positive, actually...there is positive and negative to all of the many conditions of Life, even Love may be negative)) ..perhaps, in some instances, it was justfiably so, but it still was negative energy and it actually ate away at me...a form of self-attrition in that sense...in addition to exuding negative energy outward. Accordingly, Indigos, just as any other human beings, are here to foster humanity and nurture the goodness that lies within the human spirit..and help to counter balance the negative aspects..this can only be accomplished if the humanity within ourselves is nurtured first...analogy: a pebble in a pond sends its energy as ripples outward...the origin of that energy is the primary factor..whether the ripples nurture...or suppress
In addition...Indigos, (as well as all peopel) must be careful to not become arrogant and/or ostrasize ourselves from the rest of humankind... for we forsake ourselves and deny others that which we could contribute for the fostering of a better world for all...this I say as my response, PLEASE don't misunderstand...the previous words of mine were not meant to correct or control or even to" try to help" I am merely sharing the following with you AND others......it is a worldly fact ....all human life is precious, yours, mine, others....all life is sacred for LIFE is the "spirit" of God and the Universe.
"There are no passengers on spaceship earth. We are all crew."
-Marshall McLuhan
Take care.
PS: Please, refer to me as Dana...I do not particularly like the DG...please....Thank you
