It was nice of Jesus to leave the monks who raised him and go back to Israel and help his people. Many of my closest friends are "war vets" . My earliest childhood was awful and I tend to bond with people who have also climbed out of tough lives "they were given" . It's tough to have wounds society, community, family, and even friends may sometimes be unable to recognize.
