A personal question looking for opinions.

OK, here's my, kind of, embarrassing question, of which I've never really gotten a straight answer about. As I've said before, I was born somewhere around a grade 5 to a high 4 depending on scale used to define. Surgery at birth, some purely cosmetic (AKA "just cut it off, it's too big for a normal clitoris") and some medically necessary urethral work. Definitely not CAIS, so the sparse hair that I have "downstairs" is normal. My question is, since I have that hair, why haven't I ever had underarm hair?

Personally doesn't make any sense to me because I thought they both came from testosterone at puberty and obviously enough was getting through for one -- wouldn't that be a package deal?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about this, it is truly one of the symptoms of AIS that for me rocks and makes my girlfriends jealous; but, I'd still like to know the "why."

Emily
