Fighting Gender Stereotypes
I stopped at a McDonald's today to get a happy meal (easy to eat on the road). The line at the drive thru had several cars so I went inside to order.
The clerk asked boy or girl, and having the opportunity to make a point face to face, stated "hermaphrodite" The look on her face was classic---hard to described but one of horror and confusion...if you need a good laugh someday, do the same. Betsy
