Sometime this evening (2/19) the main part of the site is going to go offline while I perform an upgrade. A this point, my intention is to back up the site for easy redeployment if necessary. I've been testing the upgrade on the back end here and while you may notice slight improvements such as speed and improved syndication (if you access stuff here--not on the forums though--through RSS feeds), but most of the issues are bug fixes and back end stuff that makes maintainance a tad bit easier.
There's more js in the upgrade version than it has now, and while you will still be able to access it just fine, there will be some issues you may hit if you have js disabled in your browser.. It's not anything major--mostly bells and whistles stuff.
That this means the site will not be accessible for awhile while I do it. Good karma willing, it shouldn't take long. There is no reason to send me email if you see the site down.
The forums should be still be available (they use a different database) and can always be accessed at http://www.bodieslikeours.org/forums.
I've been rolling out the upgrade on my personal site (it's built using the same platform as the blo site) and it has tested fine in a production enviroment and in fact, is rather nice.
