50 year old superintendend Bianca Müller, who has worked in the Berlin police force for 27 years and was coordinator of the Critical Policemen and Policewomen, has taken her own life. In a farewell-letter, she writes about harassment from other policeofficers and superiors.

Bianca Müller was born intersexed, her parents decided to raise her as a boy and she had surgery and hormone-treatment. In her mid 20s she had her breasts surgically removed after a colleague had seen them under her t-shirt.
In 1992 she decided to live as woman. After one of her superiors leaked medical information about her, other officers started to harass and make fun of her.

That is so tragic, the loss of a life because how she was treated is so not needed. Its a shame the world has people that like to harass others because one is different.

It is truly sad that if a person is different, be it intersex, trans, gay, fat, walks different, or is intelligent, that the pack mentality will work to rid itself of this difference by any means it can. However, if that person can instead become strong, and this is not easy by any means, they can survive, literally, and gain both respect from others and self respect. I'm sorry that the officer did not find her way here, where she may have gained enough strength to carry on.

I have never run in a pack. I walk the high country with one other friend, away from the noise and clutter of intolerant minds. But we all have to go into town on occasion for essentials. But I keep my armor and my weapon close at hand, where others might not see them. But most important, I work to hold my head high, even though somedays that may be difficult.

November 20th is "Transgender Day of Rememberance", where trans persons who have died from violence, either from the hands of others or their own, have their names read in a solemn services all around the world. I have not heard of such a day for persons who are intersex. Perhaps its time. Let's not let this person die in vain.

Oh this is so tragic. I thank God for Bodieslikeours and only wish more people with intersex conditions could gain access to it. We live in a cruel and prejudiced world and it is imperative that more awareness and education is raised among the "normal people", in fact even more so than those of us inflicted with intersex conditions.

How many of us have lived a life of misery.
How many of us have been ridiculed by others.
How many of us have built up walls for protection.
How many of us have suffered the life of seclusion.
How many of us have put that gun to our head.
How many of us wish the trigger was pulled.
How many of us live the life of misery.
How many of us wish we were dead
How many of us

Bianca Müller’s suffering is over and is now in a place of unconditional acceptance. Don’t feel sorry for Bianca, feel sorry for the one’s left behind.

I'll hope that Pascal wasn't completely wrong.

This news is very sad; but it brings me to think that a few months ago; I wanted to return back to the homeland (Germany).....hmmmpph! ...not so great "over there" either.:dunno: ........and I wonder, too, how many others are at "the edge", staring down at the abyss below. ....Bianca suffered the "double-whammy" :push: from the "lower order" of the human populace of this world; one for having been "ripped off" (and ripped up) for being intersex :wilted_ro , and then tormented and abused for being trans.... :brick:

AND, then "doctors" like Baskin have the gall to pronounce that 9 in 10 intersexed ( at SF HRC conference) had "psychological problems"....as if they were the cause of such mental status; twisting and turning up-side down the picture to make the victims look like the perpetrators.
