Caitlin Childs, a board member of BLO sent this along and I wanted to put out a call here for it, if anyone has any experiences they would like to offer her. Please contact her directly by email if you, she is particularly interested in any personal experiences with rape or sexual violence so she can incorporate it into her presentation:
I am also doing an "in-service" for volunteers at the rape crisis center I volunteer at about intersex issues, specifically about working with intersex survivors. I am basically going to do an intersex 101 type presentation with some personal experiences being a survivor that is also intersex. If you or anyone you know of has some stuff that they would like to see mentioned to a group such as this, let me know. The people attending work directly with survivors who call the crisis line, as well as meeting survivors at the hospital who getting rape kits done. The in-service will be May 23 and 24.
