Umm, no not the standard medical text ...

Apparently ABC has some show called "Grey's Anatomy" which airs
on sunday nights, which I've never watched. Anyways, according to a
friend of mine, last night (5/22) the season finale concerned the fate
of some character who was supposed to be experiencing much the
same ordeal I've been going through, including the colonoscopy and
mri (and ovaries in them thar loins).

Makes you think the script writers maybe visited BLO and thought
"that sounds kewl ...".
Well, if anyone watched it and could spare some commentary, you'd
have a bit of gratitude from me :-)

Thanks,
- Melissa

Also no because writing and production on that stuff is usually done long before it actually airs and you haven't been around that long.

However, if script writers do visit and get ideas, it wouldn't surprise me. Any good script writer will use sites like this for informational purposes and background information.

I didn't see the show. I always hear about these things after the fact and few show listings in the teevee guide include information other than the title and rating. Remember the days of 4 channels and full information? LOL...too many listings to squeeze in now!

Not that it would have helped as I don't read the channel guide anyways and prefer random surfing.

Hi Beach! :grouphug0 It's nice to see you round these parts of Dodge again! I'll read your PM in a moment but not sure I'll reply tonight as I'm about to drift away quickly. I had some emergency dental work done today and have a good amount of residual soreness still hanging around. Pain makes me very loopy without the need for drugs to do it most of the time. I think I must make high levels on endorphins. I think that is the right word. I had a nursemaid for the evening which helped as well :wink_smil

I need significantly more done but need to figure out how to quickly raise $1000 before I can do it.

Anyways, HI!

Betsy

Ok, thanks :-) As long as it's not even much of a coincidence.
Art often imitates life. As long as an even closer resemblence
doesn't show up on "Csi" :-)
In the bladder? ... Ouch. That would outrank my aches and pains.
