One of the premises of these support sites is breaking down
shame and secrecy. What do you do when you aren't ashamed,
and it's the doctors who want to keep you in the closet? Die?
I'd do just as well making that appointment with the friendly
body piercer. He specialized in ventilation. <grrr ... sob>

You sound so down in this post..just wanted to say, hey, I'm here if you wanna offload or a shoulder to cry on, as far as you can on the net. I totally agree with the message you're conveying ...why do they wanna keep being so secretive? It's so hurtful and causes SO much fear. I can feel your anger and all that hurt. If I was in the US maybe we could talk about that legal warpath together..I have sure as hell tried to get access to all the medical information on me here in the UK, and I have tried to get my answers, but so far it really looks like a lost cause, unless of course I can get some medic in another country to help me. Just don't know where to start.

Many organizations are staffed by volunteers and while I realize it can be difficult particularly when you need something yesterday, patience is a very good thing.
