Use the word hermaphrodite or pseudo hermaphrodite around endos or ped surgeons and it seems to just annoy them lol ...

yes, it is an old term and male or female pseudo-hermaphrodite is fine with me also. I like to own those terms so that others can't so to speak. Medical technology and for a very long time does have the actual conditions that are or may be related to those terms. The word that gets me is intersex because I'm not inbetween any sex and of course i do respect those of us in the world with or without intersex conditions that like this term. For me, it's an adrenal gland conditon and correct the lack of cortisone it's pretty boring accept for the adrenal crisis being scary because that may be death. What would be nice is a new endocrine system, I think my thyroid is going back to hyper and I'm just having fun.
The correct terms are the actual medical conditions and I can't tell you how many times doctors have confused CAH with AIS or said to me in very hush hush tones about AIS like it's going to make me have the same reaction. I've said I know of someone that has that and she is prettier and more sucessful than either of us doctor and the reaction from them is " Ohhhhh"

My pcp used to be my endo; and she was the one who ordered a colonoscopy
for blood in my urine, though I surmise she'd already planned to have the GI
specialist go through the fistula into my canal, and I guess probably planned
to never tell me.
Anyways, on my next visit, I was strongly insisting on an explanation while
she was just being completely evasive. And I got a little peeved and said
"... what the hell am I? some kind of hermaphrodite?" And umm, she didn't
like that word one bit; in fact the tempature in that room was colder than
the slightly snowing winter's day outside.

I use the words in fun ..i'm sorry just to jerk their chains. I'm playing around and it gets them all miffed because medically they can prove the conditions behind those terms and that's why Miriam was annoyed also thus being those terms are pointless unless you like myths like I do.
'What the hell am I some kind of hermaphrodite? " that's not a bad thing and plus it's great for medical journals!
On a serious note did they ever find the cause of your bleeding?

The two official mri reports are a split decision, the unoffcial 3'rd
said nothing informative. My (current) pcp has apparently decided to
help me by going back to the radiologist for useful information, after
I made the plea that attempts to marginalize my problems haven't
made them go away.
I guess no matter what the truth is about my gonads, the tiny bits of
tissue(skin?) that in the MRI were visibly peeling off the sides of the
canal are probably one cause of the bleeding. It's been happening for
the last 4 days or so; this time it's much worse than usual and I'm close
to not being able to stand up. If it doesn't improve by tommorow, I'm
going to try to get myself to the emergency room. It's not just blood
this time.
