How is work going? Don't you do research at a cancer center?
I am working at MD Anderson. Mostly to pay the bills until I finish my Dissertation. If I stay in the medical field, I dont want to do research though. I would rather do clinical physics..

I am hoping to finish my dissertation early in spring, and go through commencement this may. I am applying to the Physics Residency program here, but also for the Lawrence fellowship at Lawrence Livermore lab. That would be my first choice. I interned there. It's a fun place to work.

Have you ever visited a school in an economically disadvantaged area?Yes. When I worked for Marathon Oil we had a partnership with Browning Elementary in a very poor neighborhood. I was a mentor to several students who were classified ESL. I tutored them in spelling and English. It was very rewarding.
