I'm unemployed at the moment and so have no health insurance. I need to get individual insurance even if I have to pay for it. I know there all all types of different plans. I would need a plan so I could go to a specific hospital to see all specialists and have all tests done at this one hospital. I'm not sure if insurance companies would insure me especially as I have a pre-existing condition. Does anyone have any experience or advice on getting insurance?

Most states have some form of low cost health plans that are available threw DSHS. As im not familiar with your area i wouldn't have the slightest idea what its called. They also tend to not be so great at the specialised health care, often end up using hmo's. But ask around anyways at your local DSHS office. If unemployed, have you thought about applying for public assistance. Its not perfect either, but here we have medical coupons that cover some things. also not perfect but better then nothing. nad if nothing else it may provide some help if it becomes neccessary in the immediate future. Also you can or should be able to get some assistance with employment threw worksourcce, Job security/unemployment security services. Nothing is ever perfect though, who knows, sometimes its the refferal from a service rep that can get you the jobs that you've applied for before and was never hired for. Then theres usually DVR services, they can also provide services for attaining employment. hmmm, guess im sort of going off topic abit. But, all of this may lead you in the right direction. eventuall employment with a corporation that does provide health insurance. Or at least assist with a Job that pays well enough so that you can afford insurance on your own.
Best wishes.;-) ;-)
