Hi folks;

The purpose of this site is to positively reassure those who have a missing or added X chromosome to their make up and that they are not alone. It includes Klinefelter's Syndrome, Turner's Syndrome and Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome and all variants thereof. Parent's of children who have any of these are most welcome to encourage each other and exchange notes.

My name is Andre and I am XXY Mosaic. I have been diagnosed in 1985 at the tender age of 22. I am the Administrator of this site as well as a moderator of a related site. I strive to ensure that all aspects of Klinefelter's, Turner's and Androgen Insensitivity Syndromes are addressed and positively reinforced. The moderators themselves have the specific syndrome that they themselves monitor. This site is in no way competing with any other, it's another option.

This could be a "feel good" site but it's more realistic than that. I know that there are many things that can get us down in life never mind what medications and additional issues we have to deal with. Once in a while, it's good to be reassured that we are doing the right thing, that going on is a good choice, that the feeling of emptiness and wanting is shared and that we are not alone. Friends are forged in terrible times, I'm pretty sure you will find one here. It is important that we can go somewhere and not be judged in what we think and how we cope.

I have provided many forums for the individual X chromosome syndromes and variants thereof. It is also important to address those who feel that they do not belong to a specific gender as a direct or indirect result of these syndromes, so forums such as gender dysphoria and intersex are provided. The format in each of those forums are the same with each focused on that particular syndrome or variant thereof. Each of these forums are moderated by a person of that syndrome. You certainly can refer to them or me, as you wish.

Life isn't made from peaches and cream or is flowery by any means. It is, however, nice to relax somewhere where judgment is left on the outside. I hope I can provide that for you and with you.

Sincerely yours,

Andre

I am unaware of there being a problem. But apparently, i am unable to register on your sight. It says my email address has been banned. Is that normal. I don't want to sound foolish or angry or well anything. But I am wondering. Is your forum working properly? Or have i somehow upset someone?

I am just another 45X/46XY person, diagnosed in 1993, CAH, also in 1993, all while serving in the military. I hate to say this, but the military doctors are actually the only ones from the medical community to even acknowledge to me that i am intersexed. To date i have been unable to verify either diagnosis. I do have enough information from family members, even from friends of my parents to know, that everyone has spent there life, my life, withholding a great deal of information from me.

I really hope i havent offended anyone. I would appreciate a reason for why my email address is banned from your sight? Is it still in the works? something, anything. I feel that any place i get more information, more contacts, share knowledge and well just about everything else, is beneficial to me, and to others.

I'm really not that bad of a person.

No, not that I am aware of. Oh, do you by chance have a hot mail email system ? Very much like this site, the hotmail has been taken out because I have recieved numerous amounts of bogus emails. I believe this site bans Hotmail and Yahoo as well.

Please send me a pm and let me know your email and I will set it up for you if you wish. There is no one banned and I am sorry if you feel slighted, it certainly was not the intention. :sad_smile
