I have requested permission to address this forum and received an okay from BetsyDriver. I hope that you will find it in your hearts to put up with my ignorance and my arrogance. Just please know that my heart is in the right place.

My name is Ane Barker, and I have finally been given the go ahead to first draft an original screenplay based on an outline that my agent submitted. I don't have a long list of credits, as a matter of fact, while I have sold one completed screenplay and two telelvision outlines, I haven't been successful enough to quit the day job.

While I would love to lay out the storyline and tell you everything about the characters, my agent would serve me with fava beans to the prodco pres that gave in and admitted the outline deserved a first draft on his dime (a dime is literal, and a rather large budget before the first draft is completed).

For the script, I am primarily interested in hearing from individuals that were forced to live as boys, but knew or suspected they were female. I know this is not the majority situation, but I am sure there are persons that survived this scenario.

After reading through the forum posts, and a few other sites, I realized that I need to hear from as many people as there are out there with a story or two to share.

It would be beneficial to hear stores of those who chose not to be identified as a 'he' or 'she' and some of your experiences in refusing to be nailed to the cross.

Thank you for your consideration.

I will check the posts, and if anyone prefers, my e-mail address is AneBarker@aol.com.

My character has many layers, and I want to make certain that she is true to soul of an intersexed person.

Thank you for your consideration, and if I offend by my request, please forgive me for my ignorance.

Always,
Ane Barker
