As a way to get past the Times (pun intended) and move forward, I thought of the Intersex Awareness site and there was a poll on favorite Intersex films. I realized that there are more films about IS than that and would like to include them here..2 are from other countries: UK and Germany:

The last film's story is in German and only a narrative, however you can click on English (left column for translation).
The 2 Planet Out ones, if you successfully (I hope) access the site can be actually watched online, if your browser permits. Some may be purchased for IS educational purposes...to focus primarily on IS people's lives and not so much their anatomy (as in clinical presentations).
Film is good as an educational media, as it reaches people's hearts and minds...makes them think and feel... The LGBTI Ctr here at UCI has Hermaphrodites Speak and Is It A Boy or Girl....
Anyway, we are in year 2004 and Intersex Awareness is the theme, so to forge forward , undaunted by setbacks and difficulties....I guess there is no smiley for determination....

To double check, I clicked on all of the URLs above post, and the 3rd had some trouble...the movie:

"Borderline" tells the story of Rebeca Duarte, a young stuntwoman, who unravels a sexual mystery that leads her to discover a hidden family secret.
This film was a finalist for the Second Annual PlanetOut.com Short Movie Awards

You can go through the 2nd URL and click on Popcorn Q movies (left column)and go to movie search , enter title film to access it that way.
I believe all these films are about real people.
