BLO newbie with tech nerd question

I am a new member of BLO, having just found it this morning. I am greatly impressed by the people/postings, and would like to add to the discussions.
I would like to take some time to prepare my first real post, and have a tech nerd question: If I use MS Word to prepare the text, do I need any special formatting to allow a cut-and-paste into the message block?

Hi Kwester,

First and most importantly....welcome to Bodies Like Ours.

On the cut and paste question, composing first in word and then cutting and pasting into the text box is fine. I do it all the time.
