The film screening went well. There were roughy forty people in attendance. Both the films "XXXY" and "First Do No Harm, Total Patient Care For Intersex" were interesting films featuring interviews, and panel discussions, with intersex people.

Aiden Kotler and David Cameron did a presentation on basic intersex issues. Aiden did a good job of explaining the difference between "gender" and "sex". He is able to present materials in a concise manner. David presented a breakdown of the different types of intersex. He also discussed his own Klienfelter situation. He shared his thoughts on being "XXY" and gay marriage. The mostly gay audiance quickly picked up on David's desire to be able to marry without artificial genetic restrictions based on "male", or "female".

I stuck around for awhile afterwards, and joined Aiden and a sponsor in an informal discussion of intersex. Even though I am shy in public, I am glad that I stuck around. I was able to share some of my own experiences as an intersex person.
