There are some people on the internet that start out sounding like they want to help or ad something worthwhile to a support site. Then they fill their posts with meaning less chatter. (meaning less for support that is) That in its self does not bother me. But when people start with negitive posts that another story. Often enough they encourage others posters to follow them with their negativity, which is often(but not always) directed at the people posting. Now what happens is, instead of having really thoughtful, insightful, and witty posts that encourage others to read and join and learn, we have posts that go all over the place and we loose viewers of BLO (as I watch the views) and even worse then that is we loose good posters who really are smart fascinating people. I have seen it trends like that before on this site. Now that we have some realy great posters I want to keep them. Remember that alot of people watch and read these posts, if the post are good and well thought out, people come back to read them. Regardless of who people are and why they post, the post should be kept postive unless of course your struggling with intersex and that is what me and all the other good poster are here for. To help with the shame and build self-esteem among us!! If you post for any other reason, I think your missing the point of a support site.
I will react to people’s posts, good and bad. This is a one of a kind site on the internet and not just anybody should be posting here for the sake of posting. there are plenty of other web site out there for people just for that. This site is special, and it should remain a site for people who really need help, or who really want to learn about us and understand us. That is what I think brings people to BLO and keeps them.
