Hello All!

I am so excited to have found this site after much searching and researching. I cannot believe I am actually here.

I live in Toledo, OH so I feel so very far away from many of the upcoming and regular events I see posted, but hope that I can help to broaden the educational horizons of people in my area through information I gain here with you.

As a student at a local university I am majoring in Women's and Gender Studies & Sociology with hopes to work as an Intersex Activist in my community, nationally, and globally.

So there's a bit about me. Let the journey begin!

Hello Havestorm, welcome to the forum. I've been to Toledo once :) But just for a bus stop over.

Good to have you 'aboard'. I'm glad you found this site - it is a true treasure. I only wish I could find the time to respond to all the latest postings. But, I can dream.

Hope you can find the time to respond on occasion also.

Hi Harvestorm,

Welcome to "Bodies". I am glad to hear that you desire to become an Intersex Activist. We definitely need more Intersex Activists. (I am a semi-Activist, as I work full-time.) As you study issues involving intersex, gender, and women's studies at the university, hopefully you will share your insights with us in the coming months.

Peter

Can I ask what took you so far from home? Toledo is quite a few paces from Austraila?

Well my hobby involvolves a fair bit of travel. I live in a very boring city. My hobby involves exploring drains, tunnels, abandoned buildings and what not. There are many nice abandoned buildings in Detroit, and there's a great abandoned subway in Cinncinatti. So I was travelling between the two.

If you like, I'll post a link to my web site.

Hi Hope,

Thank you for your avid interest in, and efforts toward, support of the Intersex community.:)
I browsed through your website and liked your writings, especially the one entitled Shear Communication. Just by browsing the other writings, I was able to gather that you have a very noteworthy viewpoint toward (and established concept of) interpersonal communication and human nature. I plan to more thoroughly read them all when I get more time (have PC only at work).
And, of course, welcome to our forum:D

Take care.:)

You should come to Philadelphia - we have tons of abandoned buildings and such. The city started looking for good ones to tear down by aerial surveillance. (??) They are looking for trees growing in the buildings!

The pond ... cold! Just like everything else every other day. :) It's warming up though.

How nice it is to have someone so close ... I was feeling quite far from everyone.

Thank you for the "hello" and I send one right back atcha!
