Naw, maybe not. I'd probably drown as I can't swim in the deep blue sea. I'm always a better person when my feet can touch the ground.

Hi Betsy,

I believe that you might run into some civil rights problems if you plan a Pacific vacation. The United Kingdom of Atlantis was only recently "discovered" according to its ruler. The UKA is apparently located to the northeast of Australia. However, it is unclear if any of the territory is above the surface of the ocean.

As best as I can tell, the Kingdom is governed by a form of Muslim law. To my mind, this Muslim law has its good points and its bad points. For instance, the Constitution of the Kingdom forbids the practice of female circumcision, and holds that the penalty for the crime can be 20 years imprisionment and a heavy fine. It also supports paid maternity leave etc.

On the other hand, the Constitution forbids sodomy, homosexuality, and lesbianism. There are no gay rights in the Kingdom. It is not a place that I would want to visit, and it seems strange to me that they might be concerned about intersex rights but oppose gay rights.

I cannot claim to understand Sentinel007. My general impression is that he might mean well, but that the theories he holds are confused, and often hurtful to others. I don't think that he was really able to enter into a constructive discussion of intersex issues with intersex people who post here. As Sophie338 noted, the fact that he cannot reveal who he is, and has not indicated any desire to modify his theories based upon our feedback, severly limits his ability to enter into a constructive dialog.

The middle of the last paragraph of their Constitution is as chilling as some Biblical accounts of 'what happens to those who "sin", especially abominations of God or Allah... excerpt:

-you will return to the fire of saciira, the ultimate punishment, torture, burned and rejuvenated, burned and rejuvenated, and when you are thirsty, you will drink your oozy flesh, when you are hungry you will eat the tree of hell (zagam) when you bite it and swallow it turns into multitude of snakes and they will eat you and chew you from the inside, demolish and rejuvenate, every punishment is worse than the one before......

I can see, now, why Sentinel's "intersex" son chose going back to South America, instead of joining his adopting father in the "Promised Land":eek:
