Sorry for just popping in to the forum now and then and asking for a bit of moral support. I know I just don't give the input and feedback I once did. I'm just having a bit of a bad life right now.
I had a really crappy day today. One of the days you wish you never woke up on. My little car broke down and would not start. Then when I though I had not much work to do I discovered a heap of work to do that was months old and had to be done straight away. Then I had to catch a taxi home again. Then when I got my car fixed, the battery died. So it does not start again. Next, I was in a chat and some bastard I confided to about myself told me to piss off and "Shouldn't you be tendering your uterus?"
Some days there really is no point to being awake.
Can I write you a hug? :)
Hey GB, that sucks. I'm joing Sofie in sending a trans pacific {{{{{{{{{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Next time you have a wretched day, where nothing goes right; have a chat and confide with us here @ BLO, instead of some stranger/bastard who, in all likelihood, could care less about you and how your day went.
Instead of a "slap in the face" or worse; you'll get cyber-hugs and understanding.
Do "pop in" more often....alright, mate?;)
Dana
GB, I'm glad you felt you could confide in all of us and seek our help. I have two wishes for you. 1-that your problems 'go away', at least for a little while - especially that JERK. 2-that you know that we (at least me!:) ) !) care for you and the happenings in your life. I want to add my hugs to the others here. I also want to make it very clear - YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!

Thanks for the support people. I have to admit that I'm still having a hard time with life. I still have not really gotten over the pressure that drove me to try commit suicide last time. I don't like to depress people talking about it, but some times I need help.
As I said before, your syber-friends do care about you.
I have some advice.
DO you have hobbies, like coin collecting, or fishing, or gardening.
They go along way to makeing life bearable.
Second, do you read? I just got through Homer's "The Iliad" Then
I saw Troy (Based on the book) Brad Pit looks great naked:D The
story is great too.
I would recomend any reading that come from the middle ages or
before, (The Iliad is 800 B.C.)
If you really took a close look and how people really lived
hundreds of years ago, who might think that even the worse
suffering you could think of today, does not hold a straw to the
pain and suffering people had back then. Life was short. Most
children died young and mothers usally died durring birth.( Most
people died in their twentys) The food was terrible. (Nothing to
preserve it) No doctors. (oh sure, you might think that's great but
people could die from the common cold!) People often lived in
pain from the first day of birth to the last day they died. To have
a understanding of the suffering back then, puts a perspective on
how tough life really is today. I would recomend "The Canterbury
Tales" from 1600. It is great reading, and it makes our suffering
look not as bad. Hope your having a better day)))hugs(((((!!!
Girlyboy,
I too have had some bad days also and at times I get realy sick of living.
I have had 2 very loving relatives pass on in april and I am still trying to find solace,I am trying to press on.
I have also confided in people which ususally end up in heartache,
they never seem to come back or they flow away like the wind.
Gas prices are going up, so that will mean higher utility bills.
I do not own a house nor can I have children.
My credit has been boned for 15 years and I am dealing with identity theft of about 7,500.00.
Problems come and go and I think that someday I will be happy I will find solace someday.
Here is a ((((((((((( HUG ))))))))))))))))

Sometimes it seems like you can't even get to your knees before the next thing comes along and slams you.
Here's some of the things I do to help balance the negative with positives. Maybe it will help.
Sit in the hot tub in the gym and swim like a maniac in the pool to burn off frustration. Watch butts. Talk to old guys who everyone ignores.
Get laid.
Put on a meditation CD. It's kinda like an emotional reset button.
Get laid.
Bake something. Chocolate. Eat it. Chocolate is a good for depression ya know. Eat more. Go back to the gym for more workout and eye-candy.
Call a friend and chew his ear off.
Let a friend call me and invite him to vent - then I feel like I haven't got it so bad because there's someone more wretched than me and I helped him spit out the poison.
Go to the local monestary and listen to the monks sing evensong or compline in the dark with only canles. It makes you float.
Get laid.
Go to the art gallery or a formal garden and sit in front of something beautiful. (Don't sit in the fountain, they don't like that) Especially if it involves watching swimming fish.
Did I mention getting laid?
Hang in there!
Jim
Hope things are going better. I haven't been checking the boards much lately - my job actually wants me to work sometimes... the nerve!
Sending lots of hugs,
Glenn
