Thanks, Meresa!
"May your years be many and your rems be few."
" And my dreams be filled with cobalt blue" :D
Inre rems: Yesterday, we received an incoming 137Cs sealed source(30 mCi) which I had to "swipe" for leak testing. Two days before that I did an inspection/survey of Dr. Potkin's lab (Brain Imaging Center)...and the PET scanner/ Hot Cell there....they have (avg 5 mCi each) 6 68Ge sources....so I think I got an itsy-bitsy bit....just enough to "tickle my innards":p
:) Take care.
the community here at BLO is lucky to have you, Dana, and i want to wish you a happy birthday and say thanks for being who you are.

It doesn't happen nearly often enough (some will debate that, Lol)
Thanx for your PMs too, I love it when people send me messages of support!

Hey Shodan!:)
Thank you, and your quote: "It doesn't happen nearly often enough"
Hmmm.let me "debate" that:
I was born in Germany , wee hours of the morning (according to my mother...no time on birth "report") July 23, 1950. Taking into consideration the time difference between Europe and here (appx 10 hrs) I was really born July 22 (here in US)...but it's listed here as July 23.
So actually I have two birthdays....back-to-back:D
Take care and wishing you a nice "whatever".
Dana
A little late, but Happy Birthday!!! Dana - You are truly a valuable and wonderful resource for us. Bodies needs you (at least I know I do):D I still need to learn how to tell you 'Happy Birthday' via Klaatu's language. So many things, so little time...

Hi Wyn,
Thank you for the birthday wishes!:) And....a happy birthday to you, too ( coming up very soon ).
The BLO forum and its members have been a valuable resource and wonderful experience for me as well.....everything in life goes both ways.
Here's a recipe of mine I'd like to share with you and the rest of the BLO membership:
========================================
Fried Banana ‘Anydae’ (not just Sundae as in Sunday....get it?;)
Ingredients ( per 1 serving ):
One banana, not overly ripe (brown spots ) or under ripe (green skin )
Krustaez pancake mix enough for 1 cup batter mix (this brand, I've found is best)
Mixed Berry ice cream OR Mixed Berry frozen yogurt (or whatever flavor suits you....)
Your choice: fresh strawberries, 3-4 medium size; blueberries or boysenberries (1/2-3/4 of a cup should do...not frozen, though!)
Canola or Olive oil
Blueberry, Boysenberry or Strawberry pancake syrup
Directions:
Prepare batter as directed for pancake mix, let sit for awhile to get lumps out and refrigerate until mix is cool (about ˝ hour ).
Cut banana edgewise to get oblong slices, about ˝ inch thickness.
Dip banana slices in cool pancake batter and fry as you would pancakes until batter is golden brown in non-stick pan with enough layer of oil to cover ˝ of banana slices. Blot off extra oil with paper towel and let cool slightly so banana slices are not too hot for next step.
Place fried banana-cakes on smoothened ( flat surface ) bed of ice cream or frozen yogurt in large flat ( soup ) bowl.
Pour a light layer of your choice syrup over banana-cakes dish.
Circle the banana portions with sliced strawberries or whole bluberries/boysenberries all the way around. (For the calorically adventurous, try some whipped cream on top of fruit:D )
Enjoy:cool:
