Hi All,
Just got back from meeting and spending the day with our very own Monica, aka cougar9q (http://www.bodieslikeours.org/forums/member.php?u=263)
She is a delightful young lady, and great fun to hang out with.
We went over to a local Houston water park called The Reef (http://www.atthereef.com) for some swimming, sunning, and freediving. Monica was keen to give freediving a try, and I gotta say, that gal's a natural! She was diving down 20-30 feet (without scuba, mind you!) like she had been doing it all her life!
The clincher was when I found some discarded cans on the 25 foot platform. She wanted to dive for one, so I put it back down on the grid. And danged if she didn't get it and bring it up on her very first try! (look out Tanya Streeter (http://www.divernet.com/profs/tanya499.htm)...)
Let's all give her a hand, shall we!! :applaudth
