Intersex is a general term used to describe a physical body part at birth/teen years and/ or genes of many conditions and I was wondering if you know what her intersex condition is ?

Hi Tim,
Thanks for your note about being engaged to an intersex woman. I am not sure about what type of information you are looking for, but there are many people on this forum who know a lot about living as an intersex person. Probably, the best person to learn from is the intersex woman you are engaged to. I have only had a few chances to talk with "friends" of intersex people. What's it like? I did meet a man the other day, who was also a "friend" of our intersex movement. He was really interesting to talk to. I did notice something in common between a comment he made and a comment you made. You said that the woman you are engaged to is "christ" like. The other guy that I talked with said that he was sorry that he could not understand the depth of intersex experience. I kidded him about that remark. Anyway, these are some of my thoughts. I hope you are doing well.

I have a really good friend named Beach he is intersexed. He was born with
both the D.N.A of a man and a woman, so he has male and female parts, but
he looks like a man. It is a very rare condition. Besty is intersexed she is a
woman who had some male-like parts at birth but she is still a woman. I was
born a male with underdevoloped parts so I had no penis. It is a very
rare condition.
We are all under the umbrella of intersex yet our conditions and exsperances
of being intersex are very very different. I can't have kids, others can. I look
like a girl, others don't. Some people are androgonous, looking like both a
male and female but they have normal gentials. It has to do with thyroid
problems, that is not intersex. With all the very differents and rare conditions
that fit under intersex it is really important to define what condition you have
or what conditon your friend has.
Intersex ?
lots to discuss on this issue.

Hi Jules
Some people are androgonous, looking like both a
male and female but they have normal gentials. It has to do with thyroid
problems, that is not intersex.
I wouldn't necessarily agree with the above statement, take myself for example,I was born with a karyotype of xxy (referred to by the medical profession as xxy male) but, never experienced a male puberty.Instead I went on to develop a female body shape with all the curves in all the right places, the only thing missing for me were the boobs, this part of the equation should soon be complete thank's to my gaining access to oestrogen.
So you see (at least in my situation) it has "everything" to do with being intersexed, given that I look and identify as androgynous,I write my genetic signature as xxy/androgynous.
There are far,far to many variables of intersex, indeed to add to the confusion not all that long ago here in Australia, the transgendered community have, through a legal process, been added to the intersex umbrella.
Stay well Jules
Love and peace
Canice.
Hello C.J. I hope you are having a wonderfull day!!!
It would seem that I stand corrected. I was posting about people I know
that look like both male and female yet have normal
gentials. There can be other things besides hormones and medical conditions
of the reproductive system that cause apperance to look androgonous.
Because the my post was unclear about that I understand that it came
off uncorrect. I wasn't posting about personal identifiction issues, but the
post was blurry in that department so I will say that you are correct
androgonous/xxy can be a intersex condition.
P.s. did you get my pm, C.J. I have a few questions for you
