Ahh, I see. Is it a gonadectomy they have you scheduled for? That could be rather frightening. I know that I've been terrified of anesthesia. The hormone tablets shouldn't need to have side effects, besides giving you an adult figure. If you feel like they're giving you too much, you can always cut back a bit to where you're comfortable with it. It's reassuring to know that you'll have complete control over your estrogen levels, isn't it?
I seem to remember that for estrogen, patches and tablets dissolved under the tongue have the least side effects. And that a little progesterone once and again isn't a bad thing, it gives you the right scent and helps put your curves in the right places.
