Yes, answers are necessary, and the truth is important. Living in a life of illusion isn't so good.
What I meant was, by some reports from members here ... If for example a karotype found you with XX, the gov't would likely change your legal sex to "female", whether you want it or not. And stamp it on your driver's license for everyone to see, making you the girl named Brad. Even if you don't feel yourself as any different, the rest of the world will start acting kind of weird.
And then maybe some homophobic beurocrat would say that you and your wife are lesbians living together under an illegal same-sex marriage.
And then I could imagine the argument you might have with your parents about the secrets they kept from you.
I wasn't suggesting that you shouldn't find out, I'm just hoping that you're ready for the answers you might get.
