Lack Cortisol
Dear R-
I wish you all the best wish this and you are really looking which is always good. I look into my Hashi thyroiditis just like you are looking into this stuff. Side note: I have PCOS and I'm not a Doc but I don't think you would be pregnant with that.
CAH is lacking the ability to make cortisol and adrenal crisis.
Early puberty starts from no treatment or lack or supression which causes short stature. People with CAH take cortisone to help make up for what the body wasn't able to make.
100 in a hundred people have late onset CAH.
1 in 12,000 have Salt Wasting CAH 21 hydroxylase and 1 in 100, 000 have Simple- Virilizing CAH besides other types of CAH.
I'm not a doctor or nurse as they in reality are the only ones that can help you explore this if you choose to. I'm just a security guard that just gave you some info about CAH and how cool if others could give you info about their conditions or experinces.
I did understand what you meant that you wanted more testosterone but still wanted female qualities as with CAH the testoserone is waht they want to limit. I went through menopause becuase of the cancer treatment and really it was great and I wonder if that was becuase of declining estrogen.
Maybe needing to be a dual gendered person is what you are looking for?
I worked with people that transed (they were just normal people that were born in the body that wasn't for them) and they were every bit the gender they were meant to be once medically helped like any other condition but you spoke of both which would say that isn't really someone that wants to trans but rather to me dual gender or even pan gendered.
I'm female with an adrenal gland condition but I'm not that insitent about gender although I could never be male or dual or pan - Although I've come across people like this and one is a peace with themseleves but also with those that fit the whatever gender norm is ....sometimes I'm sad that I can't always be like them but neather are they really becuase gender is a spectrum.
You have every right to search and ask questions and have a a journey to peace.
I come here every so often but my thyroid condition (hashi's) is at the place I am now but I hope that I've been a good positive guide for the time being.
