I knew there was a reason I'd almost stopped visiting this forum. The sandpaper level of communication might have something to do with it. Sunshine1's post is a great attempt at showing how someone can feel, almost normal, or almost free of the restrictions binding our perceptions.

And Apple, lighten up some, eh? We got it, okay. You didn't need to use a sledgehammer to get the point across.

A great many people in the IS, indeed TS/TG, realm are struggling with the identity issue. Some of them are trying to find Gender Identity, others want those thoughts about gender to just be quiet for awhile, and yet others simply don't want to think about any of it. The world around us, pushes these ideas of Gender all the time. Some of us, like Apple, don't have to consider what our presence causes others to think. Either their self-esteem is really high, or they're male. Because Women look at it very differently. If you want a good resource to understand the female dynamic, try Deborah Tannen's book, "You're Wearing That?"

Are you sure, you aren't an Anarchist, Apple? www.ifeminist.com might be a great visit for you. Feminism and Independent Anarchists unite.. clearly.
