All natural HRT regiment for PAIS?
I have PAIS and I was seeing a doctor for HRT who is barely accessible. He's a great doc, but I don't have a car, he only works in the morning and he works at Metro Health Hospitol which only has paid parking or you can take a lengthy bus ride and I don't like spending $5 on bus fare. Then when you get there, you sit for a while in a waiting room and then somehow leave the hospitol. My medical insurance complicates the issue further by making me see a family doctor (The only ones I know of are at Metro too and I'd have to go there to see one and do the same jumping through hoops.) every year to keep seeing my endocrynologist whom I've been seeing for years.
Well, as you can see, its WAAAAY to much work to do all of that and I don't feel like doing it anymore. So, now that I've already gotten full breast growth and I'm exceptionally happy with how I look, I just want to stabilize myself on natural HRT. This means that I'm not expecting more to change, but I don't want to have my body change to being more masculine. I'm gender fluid, so yeas I shift from girly boy to girly girl, but I'm partial to having a feminine look, so I don't want to loose it.
That being said, would it work well to use black cohosh and saw palmetto to stabilize my hormone levels? Hot flashes aren't really an issue as long as its temporary. Black cohosh helps with estrogen levels and saw palmetto helps with anti-androgen. I'm on 2MG of estrodiol in the morning and at night, and 100MG of spiro in the morning and at night. So, does anyone know if this regiment would work and if so, what dosage should I take?
I've also heard that black cohosh could injure your heart and/or liver. Is that true and if so, how much more of a change is it that it could hurt me versus how much estrodiol or premerine could hurt me? I want to keep the risk low and the stability high. Black cohosh has been used for 100s of years I read, so it isn't anything new.
