Hi! New here!

Okay, so this is going to be long.

I'm not intersex in a classical sense, unless medical androgyny counts (anatomically 100% female, but with masculine characteristics). I came here to do some research for myself and for my twin. For myself because I have no idea wtf is going on with my body and for my twin because she's writing a book and one of her characters is intersex.

Here's my story: I was about 4 when I started masturbating (sorry for the in-depth details, but important to the story and I'm not ashamed of it). When I was 8 or 9, I started getting breasts and when I was ten, I started menstruating. And having hot flashes. And shaving my legs and underarms. When I was about 14 I started growing a beard, mustache, sideburns and chest hair (as well as what some people call a "happy trail"). At 18 I started shaving my face because someone called it "disgusting" and "can't stand to look at it". I also developed a seizure disorder and a migraine variant called icepick headaches.

I went from neurologist to neurologist and endocrinologist to endocrinologist, each one telling me something differrent. "You aren't having seizures, they're panic attacks." "Definitely seizures." "Impossible to tell." "You have PCOS." "You have Cushing's syndrome." "You have glucocorticoid resistance." On and on.

So here's my question. Anyone have similar symptoms?

Icepick headaches
Early puberty/menstruation
Hot flashes at a very very young age
Partial seizures
High cortisol
High DHEA
High ACTH
Low vitamin D
Infrequent periods

I haven't gotten the results of the testosterone levels, but I'm sure it's gonna be high. I'm 19 and not sexually active, if that's important at all.

I am very comfortable with who I am, and the fact that I'm attracted to men and women alike and that I think like a man in many ways. I'm just worried it may have a serious underlying cause.

I'll post a new thread for my other research questions.

If I offend anyone I do not mean to AT ALL and if I sound ignorant it's because I am. Thanks for bearing with me.
